Before you can install SimAssist, you first need to install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4 on your Windows computer.

The SimAssist Setup Wizard will inform you of any missing components during installation of SimAssist and, if you so desire, download the relevant web installer for installing the required .NET Framework.

From SimAssist version 1.3 on Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.5 is required.

Using SimAssist on Windows 10 requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.6.

SimAssist Version 5.1 or higher requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.7.2.

To continue, an internet connection is required. If there is no internet connection, a local copy of the installer must be downloaded from Microsoft, before the SimAssist-Installation continues.
